NPMC is relaunching its Patient Participation Group (PPG), we are encouraging all our registered patients to apply, if you have an interest in supporting the practice and its patients, to shape the future of the services we provide. We would encourage representatives of all ages, gender, ethnicities and disabilities who have an interest in healthcare services to get involved.
We are asking that members commit to a bi-monthly meeting and that they are pro-active in setting agenda items and minuting meetings. We aim to rotate members on a six-monthly basis, which can be extended, so that more members of our patient community have a chance to attend and be part of this exciting group.
Being a member of the Patient Participation Group can be a very positive experience. You will be involved in helping your practice to shape and grow healthcare services for the future.
If you are interested, please follow the link below, to read the membership criteria and complete the expression of interest form.
Thank you
The purpose of the Patient Participation Group is to: –
- Contribute to the improvement of the health and wellbeing of patients through regular participation in, and discussion of, any relevant topic of strategic or operational importance to the Newport Pagnell Medical Practice and its patients.
- The above is coupled with the provision of feedback received from patients (either direct or through the Practice), plus –
- The provision of practical support for certain processes such as patient vaccination clinics or patient education campaigns.
PPG Volunteers are individuals from a variety of backgrounds whose employment and life experience can benefit the Practice.
