Practice Nurse Vacancy - ideally experienced in cardiac conditions

 

We are looking for a Pratice Nurse to join our team of clinicians.  The team is managed by a Practice Nurse Team Leader and supported by the Lead Nurse.

The successful candidate will be able to provide treatment room duties and ideally be experienced in cardiac conditions to help manage our long term conditions patient list.

Alongside this, your role will include baby immunisations and will involve working across both Newport Pagnell Medical Centre and NPMC@Willen.

The post holder will develop skills in both telephone and face to face consultations.

The Practice holds Saturday morning clinics 8 am-12.30 pm working alongside the duty GP - these are managed by the nursing team on a rota basis and will be additional to the contracted hours.

There will be opportuniti8es to develop your knowledge and skills with the support of your colleagues within the Practice Nurse Team.

Visits to the practice are welcome.

Clinician required to work as part of the Urgent Care Team

Hours negotiable

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self motivated qualified practitioner who is registered with an appropriate body to work as part of our Urgent Care Team here at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre.  The hours of work will be a range of shifts between the hours of 0800 and 1830 Monday to Friday. 

Ideally you will be experienced in minor illness and prepared to undertake home visits. 

The successful candidate will deliver Minor Illness Clinics as part of the Urgent Care Team, providing:  assessment, treatment, screening, health education services and advice to patients.  You will have experience and competence in managing a General Practice caseload - including chronic case management, dealing with minor illness and injury and experience in diagnosing, prescribing and referring. 

You will be based in excellent premises where we offer a wide range of services.

Patient Navigator positions

Are you looking for a busy role that will require you to use all of your excellent customer service skills?   

We are looking for well motivated, flexible employees to join our busy reception team who strive to ensure our patients receive the best possible service from the Practice.

You will be responsible for all reception duties, providing a high standard of face to face and telephone care for patients, staff and visitors.

You need excellent customer service and communication skills and a good knowledge of Windows-based computer systems.  Experience of working with SystmOne would be an advantage.

Each successful candidate will undertake a 4 month supervised training programme where you will learn the various aspects of the role working alongside a supportive Reception Team.

We have both part time and full time vacancies.  The part time vacancies (21 hours per week) - working a combination of morning and afternoon shifts of either 5/5.5 hours over four days with availability on the fifth day to cover for your colleagues.  You will also be expected to work a Saturday morning shift on a rota basis.  Full time vacancies working Monday to Friday 7.5 hour days - a combination of both early and late finishes.  

The starting hourly rate will be £9.50 per hour, but this will increase to £10.00 once training has been successfully completed.  We follow National Minimum Wage guidelines and this rate will change accordingly.
